Hi, and welcome to 4A :) I'd like to take a second to introduce myself.

My name is Melanie and I have been teaching at Kaplan since February 2008. Before working at Kaplan, I taught English at conversational English camps in Slovakia and volunteered as a conversation partner with international students at the University of South Carolina.

I have a BA in Journalism and Mass Communications from USC and am currently working on a MA in TESOL from Seattle Pacific University.

When I'm not teaching or sitting in class, I enjoy learning languages, traveling, photography, and outdoor activities like hiking, kayaking, and watching the Mariners play at Safeco!
